A good day to felllow IMU-rians,

The ticket sales will be closed on the 9th of April 2009. We sincerely hope that those who are interested will get their tickets asap, as the hotel isn't allowing us to make last minute changes. This is because we're selecting a western menu, which as mentioned, will be served individually thus the hotel needs time to prepare the exact amount of food, and allocate the required amount of waiters to attend to us.We've also taken pictures of the food for your viewing pleasure =) Do have a look =)

Please refer to the menu below as there are two different menus, one is vegetarian, the other is non-vegetarian.

So, please get your ticket by then =)
Remind your friends who are interested, but have yet to purchase one to do so soon =)

To those who have purchased, get your ball dresses and suits ready as the ball is coming soon! There'll be a best dressed award, so be prepared to shine and sizzle! Ample performances have been lined up, so get ready to enjoy yourself!

And this year around, there'll be a dance floor and an outside deejay to play grooving beats! Goodie bags will be given out to ALL ticket holders, and inside the goodie bags are goodies from clinique, sloggi, loreal and many more! (sorry guys, i know it doesn't sound to catchy for you but hey, there'll be a free gym membership pass for u ;p)

Last and not least, please help us get more friends to come to our ball as the more, the merrier!!!(and honestly, we're trying to hit our 450 ppl target ;p)

I would make the world less revolved around money. Don’t lie, I know you’re thinking of it too!

I'm pretty happy with myself, I might opt for bigger puppy eyes though ;p

I would exchange the statue of liberty in US with a huge trash can because US creates the most rubbish and waste on earth.

I wouldn't say I deserve it. I'll leave that to the voters to decide since that's what they are suppose to do.

My height? Would be nice to be slightly taller so that people wouldn't 'overlook' me.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would you change?
World? One would do no justice. But I'll start with Malaysia first. Corruption in the government would be a good start.

I would want to challenge the highschool stereotype of the title for Prom Queen, which has been revolving around beauty. It's never about looking good on the outside but about inner beauty.

I would wish that I could be taller because the world tends to take smaller people less seriously.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
The world needs more love. I would say that the power of love is underestimated and overlooked. With a little bit more love in the world, it'll be a better space because love conquers all.

Because I'm short?? Actually, both of us got the highest votes and was told that we should represent the coolest batch ever. All in all, I shall try my best to go through the challenges.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My height! I want to grow another 10cm. Till then.

If you could chagne one thing about the world, what would it be?
Nothing, I will not change God's creation even if I can. Will try not to offend him.

We're having the FIRST-EVER IMU's Got Talent, where you can showcase ANY talent of yours! From juggling, performing magic tricks, singing, dancing, or acting, or ANY talent of yours!!!


Registration is open this week. Forms can be obtained at the Atrium, or you can contact Jien (012 3238610) to obtain the soft copy of the form!

It costs only RM3 to register yourself, or your group (maximum of 3 persons per group.)

There will be 2 elimination rounds.

Elimination Round 1 - 10th and 11th March 2009

Elimination Round 2 - 16th March 2009

Finals - 25rd March 2009

There will be prizes for contestants of every round!

After Elimination Round 1 -

prizes worth RM50 (only for the contestant with the highest vote)

After Elimination Round 2 -

prizes worth RM75 (only for the contestant with the highest vote) +

RM50 Tenji Japanese Buffet Voucher( for ALL contestants who enter the Finals)!!
